I'm glad that your skin is still so clear. I'm also one of the lucky ones that one treatment seems to have been enough.

I was on 80mg/day for 6 months. I've been 99.9% clear since I took my last pill in June 2004.

So far the only side effect I still notice is the occasional inability to wear my contacts all day long without them getting dry. Usually just a few eye drops does the trick to resolve that problem.

Congrats on the success!

I took the drug for 6 months a few years ago and I'm still 99% acne free.

The only side effect I still have is the inability to wear my contact lenses at night.

Wow, that was an incredible transformation. You look like, night and day difference. You definiently were a good candidate for Accutane. I hope to have good results as you did. I mostly have bad acne on my face, not so much my body.

hey there,
your results are amazing! i bet you feel alot more confident. i know i did. im glad i found this site. i thought i was like one of maybe ten people who were on this medication. you have gorgeous skin. kudos for toughing it out.
your gf or bf is a lucky person.

Hey your pistures look great, im not sure if you still check this or not but i have jsut started using accutane40mg. my friend used it before and his face got really dried out and i dont want this to happen to me, i noticed your face/lips dont look dry or chapped at all, whats your secret?

Hey there! I am so glad I stumbled upon your site. I'm 23yr old female who didn't have a single blemish on her face throughout the dreaded teen years. However, as soon as I reached my senior year of college, my face went nuts. I finally went to a dermatologist and I've been on minocycline for a few months. It tamed the blemishes down but that was it. So now I will be starting Accutane next month and I have been doing as much research as I possibly can. I'm not going to lie, I'm kind of scared to take the drug! This website is awesome and I'm so glad you were brave enough to post pictures of your journey. I am also going to track my progress but I don't know if I will have the guts to make a website. Only time will tell. Thank you so much for your encouraging story!! Good luck with everything and you look great!!!!

Just finished my 3rd month of accutane, and I've been pretty upset because my body acne hasn't improved too much yet. I started loosing hope until I saw this site. Now that I've seen your pics I can't wait for the next 2 months to go by. Thanks for the encouragement dude

wow...its amazed me when i see all ur pictures..it really worked .i wanna give it a try too but i dont know if it gonna work for me...did you get a prescription from your doctor?? or you just buy without it?? can you tell me where did u buy it?? thank you very much. please email me bak..i really appreciate it ..

Hi...Just stumbled on your site and let me just say: wow! I have been waiting to find a site like this. I'm on my 2nd week of Accutane. I wake up every morning and feel disgusted by how my face looks and wonder if all this is worth it; if it ever gets better. Seeing your progress has truly been reassuring and inspiring. Those pictures are powerful and I'm so glad that they're out there because like you've said in your past entries, choosing to get on this medication is a big step. I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks!
